Well known as a blending agent, Grenache is actually a highly drinkable and enjoyable wine all by its lonesome self. Grown mostly in Spain and Australia, Grenache (also called Garnacha) has characteristics of meatier, more tannic wines but with a lighter body and less aggressive flavors.
