A Little Info About Bordeaux
Pronunciation: (bore-DOUGH)
Bordeaux is to winemaking what Disney World is to child's play - the ultimate. A region of France (you knew that), Bordeaux wines are typically blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and others. Cabernet Sauvignon is generally the star of Bordeaux blends, with other grapes added to the mix to mold and shape the wine to the desired balance of flavors, acid, tannins, etc.
