Winemaker's Comments: 2003 Blackstone Sonoma Valley (Vadasz Vineyard) Pinot Noir
The Blackstone 2003 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir has beautiful aromas of dried cherries, fresh red plums, hints of red and black pepper with a touch of smokiness. On the palate, the wine is remarkably full and creamy with bright cherry and cranberry flavors. The wine has a robust mouthfeel with notes of pepper on the finish. I hope you enjoy this wonderful new wine from Blackstone. Enjoy this Pinot Noir with pork tenderloin, tortellini Alfredo, grilled sea bass, and roasted chicken or duck.

Tobacco notes on the nose with plum and black cherry tongue. Great texture on the tongue, but ultimately too dry and alcohol heavy.
