An ultimately disappointing Chard
I'm a huge fan of what Fess Parker is able to accomplish at their Central Coast operation - generally robust wines with great flavors, aromas and complex attributes. This Chardonnay, however, was far too alcohol-ly to the nose with an almost surreal finish that left more of a Syrah memory than any Chardonnay I've experienced. Somewhat spicy, very herby and ultra organic.
