Winemaker's Comments: 2005 Dry Creek Vineyard Heritage Zinfandel
This Zinfandel is the result of grafting budwood from century-old vines unto new rootstock. Vines propegated in this manner ensure the future of old vines Zinfandel character. Protecting its heritage preserves the essence of our region and produces a rich and balanced wine with layers of blackberry and spice.
Founded in 1972 by David Stare, our family winery, located in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, is dedicated to producing handcrafted, classically styled wines.

Dried Fruit Bonanza
Floating Cork is a HUGE fan of Dry Creek. Their winemaking process is full of the passion and technique one expects from quality Sonoma wineries. This bottle presents robust dried-fruit aromas and the juicy flavors burst on the tongue. Wonderfully rich and full-bodied, and an excellent example of the Zinfandel varietal. You're simply going to love this Zin.
