Winemaker's Comments: 2002 EOS Paso Robles Merlot
According to ancient mythology. "EOS" was the goddess of the dawn who lifted the sun over the horizon to start a new day. The EOS 2002 Merlot offering opens with an assortment of pleasing aromas including cherry, raspberry, plum, cedar, nutmeg and spice. Medium-bodied and well-structured, flavors of plum and black pepper are followed by a long coffee finish. An excellent pair with pepper-crusted steak or Szechwan chicken.

Peppery Sweet
Immediate cherry overtones with a peppery-sweet finish. A very robust and seasoned wine for a merlot. This bottle would pair nicely with your favorite steak or a hearty tomato-based dish.
