Winemaker's Comments: 2005 Zaca Mesa Viognier
On the nose, aromas of honeysuckle and Mandarin orange hint at sweetness. However, this wine is dry on the palate with notes of ripe peach, melon and lychee. A lingering finish has a touch of minerality, a signature characteristic of our vineyard. A natural pairing would be grilled chicken, ahi tuna or Szechuan prawns.

This is a gem which I could see myself pairing with cheesecake and reminded me of trips to the dentist - but I mean this in a very good way. The Voignier tasted a bit like fluoride, but I like fluoride . . . a lot.
