Winemaker's Comments: 2005 Ferrari Carano Emelia\'s Cuvee Chardonnay
We are pleased to introduce an all new collection of Russian River Valley “Vineyard Select” Chardonnays — the Ferrari-Carano Emelia’s Cuvée Chardonnay, named for Don Carano’s paternal grandmother, Emelia Ferrari. This Chardonnay boasts ripe aromas of white peaches, apricots, vanilla cream, and figs interwoven with tropical fruit flavors followed by toasted hazelnut and spice on the finish. Layers of intense flavors and an elegant finish characterize this spectacular new wine from our Russian River Valley “Vineyard Select” series.
