Winemaker's Comments: 2003 Chakana Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine comes from our 30 year old vines in Lujan de Cuyo, grown for high concentration and great expression. Fall 2003 has been dry and temperate, allowing the grapes to reach optimum maturity. The result is this Cabernet Sauvignon of ruby red color, aromas of black currant, grilled red pepper and spice, and a balanced mouth with varietal character.
