A 4th of July Zin that has some pep and a slight taste of gunpowder. It’s a little bitter and fades quickly like an old man at 8pm, but as with the old man, that can be endearing.

For being from such an old vine this wine sure did pucker like a new born grape. The flavor was like eating an unripe grape, with an after taste similar to the rind of an orange. I have had Ravenswood wines before, and have enjoyed them. It is worth a try, if the wine fails to win over your friends, you can always talk about the artistic label.
