Winemaker's Comments: 2003 Three Thieves Cabernet Sauvignon
Save a horse, ride a cowboy. Liberators of World Class Wine have struck again!
Three Thieves Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, dark red. Strong varietal aromas with complex oak and a palate of juicy blackberry, currant, and vanilla.
A portion of Merlot in the blend presents a sweet blueberry accent.
Soft tannins add complexity and structure. Beyond delicious with any kind of food.

Floating Cork Wine Review & Rating By Jeff O'Brien |

Smooth nose and texture, with indistinct flavoring = decent table wine; this formula adds up despite slightly unpleasant sourness leading into back of the mouth dryness. Also, has to lose some points for lame innuendo motto on label "Save a horse, ride a cowboy." That kind of marketing might work for people who guffaw spaghetti out of their nose watching Sex and the City banter, or for people who hide a paperback of "Secret Desires" under their pillowcase for special nights, but it ain't flying with me, bub!
