Winemaker's Comments: 2004 Castoro Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
Castoro, Italian for Beaver, derived its name from Niels Udsen's childhood nickname. Niels and Berit "Bimmer" Udsen founded the winery in 1983. The winery is surrounded by vines and is located in the heart of the Paso Robles appellation. We welcome you to visit us anytime.
2004 was a near perfect growing vintage. The grapes had great intensity and color. In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine contains Petite Verdot and Merlot to add complexity. This wine is packed with rich berry and full fruit capped with a toasty oak note. The finish fills your mouth with lush flavors that are not blown away with excessive tannins.

Sweet, syrupy vanilla aroma and has a nice fizzle like pop rocks.
