Winemaker's Comments: 2005 Rodney Strong Charlotte\'s Home Sauvignon Blanc
Our Estate Vineyard wines celebrate the diversity of Sonoma County's unique climate and soil combinations. Charlotte's Home Sauvignon Blanc was named in honor of Charlotte Strong, Rodney Strong's wife.
Light, crisp and highly aromatic, the warmer climate Alexander Valley fruit gives the wine ripe pear and melon character, while the ocean cooled Russian River Valley fruit offers citrus, mineral and traditional herbaceous qualities. Together, the two valleys make a classic Sonoma County sauvignon blanc that is fresh, lively and will drink beautifully over the next 1 to 2 years.

Floating Cork Wine Review & Rating By Jeff O'Brien |

Smells like peaches, tastes like peaches and nice clean finish. Drink if you like peaches. If you don't like peaches and you drink this after having been hereby warned, you deserve the horrible fruity mouthful of disgust that I can only imagine your personal perception of peach taste must produce. I can't make this any more clear.
