Winemaker's Comments: 2004 Pepperwood Grove Syrah
With a dark garnet color, this wine exudes raspberry jam and earthiness on the nose. The flavors are reminiscent of dark blackberry fruit with dark chocolate and fire roasted red pepper notes finishing with touches of the Lodi terrior, cloves, and honey-roasted walnuts.

Great wine for the price. Smooth and rich with a smoky quality that makes it perfect for those nights that you just feel like sitting around in your underwear with a cigar watching film noir with a group of friends. My friends never want to do this.
