Sharp and tart in a good way, but with a slightly unpleasant metallic finish that is not at all Goldschlager awesome. Light to medium body makes this easy to drink, and fine for sandwiches. Good value.

This wine sucked the moisture out of the air leaving an almost powdery aroma – like inhaling cocoa powder, similar to the experience I had with a recent Grgich. As I was sipping this wine in its native country I was more focused on the chipsys I was eating than I was on the wine but I did notice a metallic aftertaste following a somewhat citrus body. Chipsys are Czech potato chip with a lot of flavor. Thicker than a regular chip but not quite a ripple. Non-greasy, perfectly salted, with no room for error in regards to potato ripeness.
