Winemaker's Comments: 2002 Castell del Remei Gotim Bru Cuvee
Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon matured in oak barrels during 10 months. We produce this wine in Castell del Remei, one of the most traditional cellars producing matured wines in Spain.

Bust open the fridge before the wine
We sliced some smoked ham, gouda and aged cheddar before cracking this bottle and we weren't disappointed with the results. On it's own this wine had a significant alcohol aroma follwed by a pronounced pune flavor. Paired with some salty foods, however, the wine really developed nicely. Great velvety mouth feel and a tasty blend of tannin-rich grapes.
