Winemaker's Comments: 2005 Rideau Vineyard Riesling
Perfect dessert wine. Lightly sweet.
This definitive wine is reminiscent of traditional Alsatian Rieslings. Heady notes of ripe white peach and honeysuckle add an irresistible element to this suggestive wine. It pairs exceptionally well with ethnic dishes.

2005 Rideau Vineyard Riesling
The winemakers' notes were right on in the description of this wine. I tasted peach (as I am not a peach connoisseur I can't be certain it was white peach exactly) and honey. I thought the aroma was a bit like fruity kitchen cleaner but I suppose that isn't the most appetizing of descriptions.
