Winemaker's Comments: 2005 Luis Felipe Edwards Central Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Our Sauvignon Blanc describes a fine fresh fruit with a lemon, tangerine, and floral character for the nose. On the palate, it is elegant and herbal, with a delicate tropical fruit. The wine has a medium to light body with a nice acidity, which increases the freshness. To best enjoy this wine, we recommend drinking it young. Served cold, it pairs perfectly with fresh fish, seafood, and mild cheeses.

Citrus and Delicious
Winter in Chile is Spring in North America, so perhaps that's why this Sav Blanc is the inverse of my expectations. At under $10 the amazing aromas and flavors confined in this bottle are above and beyond a good value; this bottle is downright incredible. Very citrusy, crisp, fresh and clean. Someday soon I'll make it to the Central Valley of Chile, and when I do much revelry and drinking will ensue. Much.
