Winemaker's Comments: 2001 Concannon Selected Vineyard Syrah
This full-bodied Syrah exhibits a classic, inky ruby-purple color, and bursts with flavors of blackberry jam, chocolate, tobacco, and black pepper spice on the nose. The palate has dense fruit flavors of brown sugar, sweet melted butter, red berries, and earthy leather oak on the palate. With a lush, lingering finish, this wine is sure to please. Enjoy with herb-rubbed lamb, osso bucco or well seasoned pastas.

Quintessential Syrah
Embodying everything good about Syrah, this bottle from Concannon is fruit-filled with just enough of that bold and spicy Syrah attitude to let you know it's not screwing around.
You want mild fruit? Go pour yourself a Merlot, skippy. If you're ready to brace your tongue and dive into a rich and tannin-ful wine, then Concannon just called your number. Hooahhh!!
