2002 Syrah
Sarah loves Syrah. That is the last time I will talk in the third person. When I am dining out I like to look for an adventurous taste, but if I order a good Syrah, filet mignon me. Comfort food paired with a robust, spicy Syrah like Zaca Mesa's is adventure enough. |
2004 Chardonnay
Recently "uncorked", this new edition to the Zaca Mesa Chardonnay family is tame yet versatile. I would share this wine with friends with a broad-base of backgrounds. A crowd-pleaser it is. The mild vanilla flavor will be able to sooth many palates without causing controversy. I would be pleased to find this wine served with an array of cheeses. |
2005 Voignier
This is a rose which I could see myself pairing with cheesecake and reminded me of trips to the dentist - but I mean this in a very good way. The Voignier tasted a bit like fluoride, but I like fluoride . . . a lot. |
